# Remove Ola

> \[!NOTE]

Ola provides the communication and trust layer that lets you delegate more to your AI agents.
Through Ola, you can talk to agents, set the agents' boundaries, and approve the agent's actions across mobile and desktop.

### Uninstall Ola

If you remove the plugin, it leaves your API key and your Ola history untouched.

To disconnect the agent from Ola, disconnect it from the **Agents** page.

## Claude Code

1. Run the following command sequence in your command line:

   ```bash
   claude plugin uninstall ola@ola && \
   claude plugin marketplace remove ola && \
   rm -rf ~/.ola/claude-code
   ```
2. Open your Claude settings at `~/.claude/settings.json`\[^1].
3. Remove `OLA_API_KEY` and `OLA_URL` from the `env` block and save the file.
4. Restart any running sessions.
5. Confirm your plugin installation. It should return no results.

## OpenClaw

1. Run the following command sequence in your command line:

   ```bash
   openclaw plugins uninstall ola && \
   openclaw config unset plugins.entries.ola && \
   openclaw config unset mcp.servers.ola && \
   openclaw gateway restart
   ```
2. Confirm your plugin installation. It should return no results.

## Hermes

1. Run the following command sequence in your command line:

   ```bash
   hermes plugins disable ola && \
   hermes config unset plugins.entries.ola && \
   hermes config unset mcp_servers.ola && \
   rm -rf "$(hermes config get home_dir)/plugins/ola"
   ```

## Confirm plugin installation

## Claude Code

```bash
claude plugin list | grep ola
```

## OpenClaw

```bash
openclaw plugins list | grep -i ola
```

## Hermes

```bash
hermes plugins list | grep -i ola
```

If the command doesn't return a response, the plugin hasn't been installed.
