18022: Outdated Proof of Address document
PHONE NUMBERS
ERROR
This error occurs when the proof of address in your phone number regulatory compliance submission is older than the allowed validity window. For most submissions, proof of address for individuals should be dated within the last three months, and address documents for businesses should be dated within the last year unless the country-specific requirement states otherwise.
- You uploaded a proof of address document whose issue date is older than the accepted timeframe for the end user type in your submission.
- For an individual end user, the proof of address document was issued more than three months before submission.
- For a business end user, the address document was issued more than one year before submission.
- The phone number's country or regulation requires a different document validity window than the document you provided.
- Upload a current proof of address document. If the end user is an individual, use a document issued within the last three months. If the end user is a business, use a document issued within the last year unless the country requirement says otherwise.
- Make sure the document clearly shows its issue date and that the name and address match the end user information in the regulatory submission.
- Review the country-specific regulatory requirements for the phone number you are trying to provision before you resubmit the bundle. Regulations can change, so do not rely on hardcoded assumptions in your application.
- If you submit documents through the Regulatory Compliance API, create a new Supporting Document with the updated file and add it to a new or existing Regulatory Bundle before submitting it again for review.
