The businessWebsite value is required in the Toll-Free Verification request and must point to the website of the business or organization using the toll-free number. As of January 31, 2024, messages from unverified toll-free numbers to the US and Canada are blocked until the number is verified.
- The website does not load, is unavailable, or is not operational.
- The website requires a login, password, or other restricted access that prevents review.
- The submitted URL does not match the website the consumer is engaging with.
- The submitted URL is generic, unrelated, or a placeholder rather than the business website.
- Verify that the
businessWebsitevalue is the correct public website for the business or organization using the toll-free number, then resubmit the verification request. - Open the website in an incognito or private browser session and confirm that it loads without a login, password, or other restricted access.
- If the site is not live yet, wait until it is publicly available and fully operational before you resubmit.
- Replace any generic or unrelated URL with the actual site customers use to interact with your business.
- If part of your site must stay restricted, provide a public page that clearly identifies your business and makes the relevant information reviewable.
