MESSAGING
ERROR

This error means your A2P 10DLC campaign registration was rejected during third-party review. To approve a campaign, you must provide accurate campaign details that explain who is sending messages, who receives them, why the messages are sent, and how recipients opt in, opt out, and get help.

Possible causes

possible-causes page anchor
  • Your campaign description is too vague or does not clearly explain the sender, recipient, and purpose of the messages.
  • Your opt-in workflow or call to action is incomplete or unclear. Common gaps include missing consent details, missing opt-out instructions, missing HELP details, missing message frequency disclosure, missing privacy policy information, or missing "message and data rates may apply" language when required.
  • Your sample messages do not match the selected campaign use case, or they do not match the registered brand, website, or stated messaging purpose.
  • The website or business details in the registration are invalid, inaccessible, under construction, misspelled, or inconsistent with the business you are registering.
  • The campaign was flagged for prohibited or high-risk content, or for another non-compliant registration issue that cannot be approved as submitted.
  • Review the campaign failure_reason in Console or API and update the specific fields that were rejected. In many cases, you can correct the campaign details and resubmit the same campaign for another review.
  • Rewrite your campaign description so it clearly states who is sending messages, who receives them, and why the messages are being sent.
  • Fix your opt-in flow so it clearly documents how recipients consent to messages. Include the required disclosures for your use case, along with clear HELP and STOP instructions where applicable.
  • Update your sample messages, use case selection, brand details, and website so they are accurate and consistent with each other and with the actual traffic you plan to send.
  • If the issue is tied to prohibited content, an unsupported use case, or a problem with the associated Brand rather than the campaign text itself, correct the underlying issue before submitting a new campaign. If you believe the rejection was made in error, contact Support with your campaign and account details.
  • If you only need to correct campaign details, resubmit the edited campaign instead of deleting and recreating it. Rejected campaigns can be updated and sent through vetting again.
