30903: Campaign rejection - Incorrect Sole Prop Brand Registration

ERROR: 30903

MESSAGING, TRUSTHUB
ERROR

This error occurs when you submit a campaign for a Sole Proprietor Brand that does not qualify for Sole Proprietor registration. Sole Proprietor Brands are only for businesses in the US or Canada that do not have an EIN, Canadian Business Number, or other tax ID. If the business has a tax ID, or if it is located outside the US or Canada, register it as a Low-Volume Standard or Standard Brand instead.

Possible causes

possible-causes page anchor
  • The business has an EIN or another tax ID, which makes it ineligible for Sole Proprietor registration.
  • The business is located outside the US or Canada. Sole Proprietor Brands and Campaigns are only intended for customers in the US or Canada without a tax ID.
  • The brand or profile submission includes incomplete, invalid, or inconsistent business information. Brand registrations can fail when business details are incomplete, formatted incorrectly, or do not match existing records.
  • The Sole Proprietor registration uses invalid registration details, such as a brand name that is not the real business name, a disposable email address, an invalid address, or a mobile number that cannot be used for verification.
  • Confirm that the business is eligible for a Sole Proprietor Brand before you resubmit. If the business has a tax ID, register it as a Low-Volume Standard or Standard Brand instead.
  • Review the business details used for registration and correct them before resubmitting. Use the real business name or DBA, a valid email address, a valid US or Canadian address, and a valid US or Canadian mobile number for verification. Do not use a CPaaS number for the verification mobile number.
  • If the campaign failed because of brand or profile information, delete the failed campaign, correct the underlying brand or profile data, resubmit the brand, and then register a new campaign.
  • If you previously registered as a Sole Proprietor and now have an EIN or need Standard Brand capabilities, create a separate Customer Profile, Brand, and Campaign for a Standard or Low-Volume Standard registration.
