30916: Campaign rejected: Use case mismatch between lead generation and lead nurture
MESSAGING, PHONE NUMBERS
ERROR
This error occurs when your A2P 10DLC campaign submission does not describe a single, consistent use case. The selected campaign use case, the description, and the message_samples must match. If the campaign is registered as Lead Generation but the submission describes Lead Nurture activity, or the reverse, the campaign can be rejected.
- The selected
us_app_to_person_usecaseis Lead Generation, but thedescriptionormessage_samplesdescribe follow-up or ongoing messaging that does not match that use case. - The selected
us_app_to_person_usecaseis Lead Nurture, but thedescriptionormessage_samplesdescribe initial outreach or another use case. - The
descriptiondoes not clearly explain who is sending the messages, who will receive them, and why the messages are being sent. - The
message_samplesare unclear or do not reflect the actual traffic you plan to send. - The submission mixes more than one messaging objective into a single campaign.
- Select the use case that best represents the actual traffic for the campaign.
- Rewrite the
descriptionso it clearly identifies the sender, the recipients, and the purpose of the messages. - Update the
message_samplesso they match the selected use case and reflect the real messages you plan to send. - Include your business name in at least one sample message.
- Use brackets for templated fields in sample messages when applicable.
- If you send more than one distinct type of traffic, register separate campaigns so each campaign has one clear use case.
- If the campaign is already in a
FAILEDstate, edit and resubmit it in Console. If needed, delete the failed campaign and create a new one with the correct use case.
