This warning occurs when Twilio detects an RTP timeout on a Media Stream. This means the inbound stream stopped flowing to Twilio.

Possible causes

  • The call finished and the inbound media stream stopped.
  • The carrier stopped sending audio to Twilio.
  • Confirm whether the call had already ended when the warning was logged.
  • Review your Media Streams events and call logs to verify when the Stream stopped.
  • If the call should still have been active, work with your carrier to confirm it continued sending RTP audio to Twilio.
  • If the timeout is unexpected and continues to occur, contact Twilio Support.
