This error means Flex did not complete an internal operation before the timeout limit was reached. It typically indicates a temporary service-side delay while Flex is processing a live interaction or another time-sensitive operation.
- A Twilio service that Flex depends on did not respond before the operation timed out.
- Network connectivity issues between the agent desktop and Twilio delayed or interrupted the request.
- The action was attempted during a live voice workflow and the interaction state changed before Flex could finish processing it.
- Retry the operation.
- Before retrying, confirm that the interaction is still active. If you are performing a warm transfer, make sure the call is live, conference-based, not on hold, and not already in another transfer.
- Verify the agent's network connection and confirm that your browser, proxy, or VPN allows access to required Flex domains such as
*.twilio.com. - Open the Flex Status Report or download an error report to capture logs and service status details for the failed session.
- If multiple users see the same timeout, check the Twilio Status page and review the related events in Debugger.
