ERROR: 60235

error-60235 page anchor
VERIFY
ERROR

You sent a Verify sender definition that Twilio cannot accept. Review the sender definition and make sure each value matches the requirements for the sender you want to use. If you are using an Alphanumeric Sender ID, it must meet Twilio's sender rules and be valid for the destination country.

Possible causes

possible-causes page anchor
  • The sender definition includes invalid or unsupported properties.
  • The sender ID value is shorter than 3 characters or longer than 11 characters.
  • The sender ID uses characters that do not meet Twilio's supported sender requirements.
  • The sender ID does not include at least one alphabetic character.
  • You are trying to use an Alphanumeric Sender ID for a destination where Alphanumeric Sender IDs are not supported.
  • The destination country requires sender ID registration and the sender has not been registered for use with Verify.
  • Validate the sender definition object and remove any invalid or unsupported properties.
  • Update the sender ID so it is between 3 and 11 characters long.
  • Use a sender ID that matches Twilio's supported formatting requirements for Alphanumeric Sender IDs.
  • Make sure the sender ID includes at least one letter and is not numeric only.
  • Confirm that the destination country supports Alphanumeric Sender IDs before you send the verification.
  • If the destination requires pre-registration, register the sender ID and configure it for your Verify service before sending traffic.
  • If you do not need a custom sender, remove the custom sender definition and use Verify's default sender configuration.
