This warning appears when you try to create a branded channel for a brand that is not in a status that can use branded channels. Before you create branded channels, make sure the brand has completed verification.

Possible causes

  • The brand has not completed vetting yet and is still in a non-approved state such as draft, pending-review, or in-review.
  • The associated business or customer profile is still under review or was rejected. An approved Customer Profile is required to use Trust Products, and branded calling data requires the associated business and brand to be verified.
  • The brand or business information could not be validated during review, so the submission must be corrected and resubmitted before branded channels can be created.
  • Check the current status of the brand in Trust Hub or through the Trust Products API. Create the branded channel only after the brand reaches an approved or verified state.
  • If the brand or business is still being reviewed, wait for vetting to finish before trying again. Customer Profile review can take up to 48 hours, and Branded Calling review can take up to seven days.
  • If the brand or business was rejected, review the rejection reason, correct the submitted information, and resubmit.
  • If you need to change brand information that is already under review or verified, return it to Draft where supported, update it, and then submit it again before creating branded channels.
