Twilio rejected your Toll-Free verification request because your submission does not include an acceptable age gate on your website or in your opt-in policy. Toll-free numbers can't send SMS messages to the United States and Canada until toll-free verification is approved.
- Your website does not include an age gate.
- Your opt-in policy does not include an age gate.
- The age gate shown on your website or in your opt-in policy is not acceptable for the messaging use case you submitted.
- Your verification request does not accurately reflect that the content is age gated, including the
AgeGatedContentfield when you submit through the API.
- Add a robust age gate to your website or opt-in policy before users opt in to receive messages.
- Make sure your website, opt-in flow, and any linked policy pages clearly show how you restrict access to age-gated content.
- If your messaging program includes age-gated content, set
AgeGatedContentcorrectly when you create or resubmit the Toll-Free verification request. - Update the rejected verification request and resubmit it through the Console or API after you correct the age-gate information.
