This error means Flex could not complete a transfer request. It typically occurs when the transfer times out before completion or when the underlying Voice API request fails during the transfer flow.

Possible causes

  • The transfer request timed out before Flex could complete it.
  • The underlying Voice API returned an error while Flex was creating or updating the transfer call.
  • You tried to start a warm transfer when the current call was not a live, conference-based call.
  • You tried to start a warm transfer while another transfer was already in progress or while your participant was on hold.
  • You transferred to a task queue that had not been used in the last 30 days, which can prevent the queue from being available for the transfer flow until it is reset.
