Twilio Sendgrid Changelog | Dec. 11, 2023

Twilio SendGrid AWS Marketplace Customer Migration

On February 27, 2024 Twilio will remove its SendGrid legacy listing on the AWS Marketplace and all SendGrid legacy plans will be discontinued. A new plan will need to be purchased through the AWS Marketplace and the new plan API key will need to be configured.

What do you need to know?

On February 27, 2024, Twilio will remove its SendGrid legacy listing on the AWS Marketplace and all SendGrid legacy plans will be discontinued.

Our new plans will require you to verify your Sender Identities to help protect your sending reputation. Additionally, you will be able to take advantage of our new usage-based billing.

What action do you need to take?

Your legacy AWS account will be deactivated on February 27, 2024. To continue using SendGrid’s Email API, you'll need to purchase a new account through AWS marketplace by clicking the button below and implement the new plan prior to February 27.

Once the legacy account is deactivated, you won’t be able to send mail, log in to the SendGrid console, or access sending data. Export any Marketing Campaigns contact lists and templates before the deactivation date. You will be able to import these into your new SendGrid account.

Please note: the new SendGrid plans do not include Marketing Campaigns. For customers who require this functionality, please purchase your new SendGrid plan directly from SendGrid.com.

After your purchase, you’ll need to generate new API keys and update your applications with them. Once this is completed, we recommend canceling your SendGrid legacy account.
