Calls per Second (CPS) Billing Errors
A billing error has resulted in some accounts with Programmable Voice and/or Elastic SIP Trunking Calls Per Second (CPS) not being charged appropriately for the subscriptions on their account. The error has been addressed and proper billing of CPS subscriptions will resume as of October 21, 2024.
Some accounts with Programmable Voice and/or Elastic SIP Trunking Calls Per Second (CPS) not being charged appropriately for the subscriptions on their account; specifically, the accounts were not charged at all for the CPS subscriptions following a future-dated reduction in CPS.
The error only impacted the billing of the subscriptions, the CPS values enforced on the accounts/trunks were not changed.
Some accounts with CPS subscriptions may not have been billed as far back as January 2024. Twilio will not charge impacted accounts for previous unbilled subscriptions.
The error has been addressed and proper billing of CPS subscriptions will resume as of October 21, 2024. Impacted accounts will see prorated billing for the month of October, full month billing will resume on November 1, 2024.
