Media Streams available in IE1 and AU1

Beginning effective immediately, you can now run your Media Streams media from Twilio Media Engines located in-market in EMEA (Ireland, IE1) and APAC (Australia, AU1) keeping your media latency low – which can be critical for typical Media Streams use cases like connecting to AI bots (and related Speech Recognition and Text-to-Speech services) outside of Twilio.

For accounts using Twilio Regions, home your Twilio account (and phone number) in EMEA or APAC, and use Media Streams to fork off your Twilio calls’ media to third-party services, and the media will ingress / egress from in-region Media Engines. Just follow the steps in the guide linked to below for setup.
