We'd like to announce that we're moving our Group Texting feature to public beta! With this launch, we're bringing a few exciting improvements along. These improvements include fully compliant A2P routing, opt-out filtering, per-recipient delivery receipts, and larger file sizes.

Send to All is now available to all Engage Premier users.

With Send to All, you can send an email to all users regardless of their subscription state.

This may be useful, for example, when you need to send a marketing transactional message to a user who hasn't subscribed to your marketing emails.

With Broadcasts, you can send one-off promotional messages by SMS or email.

Targeted and personalized with the same level of real-time data sophistication used for advanced lifecycle marketing efforts, Broadcasts were built with SendGrid email and Twilio SMS functionality.

Using one centralized platform, Broadcasts offer scalability and reliable deliverability.

Requiring HTTP authentication for stored media is now considered industry best practice, and it will be enforced by Twilio. Effective July 31, 2023, Twilio will enforce HTTP Basic Authentication for Programmable Voice and Programmable Messaging Media.

Verify Fraud Guard Protection Modes lets you adjust your protection level on Fraud Guard. Check it out on your Twilio Console by navigating to the Verify Services page and selecting your Service, where you can view Fraud Guard under the SMS tab. Read our documentation to learn more about it. 

As of June 5, 2023, Twilio SendGrid no longer supports TLS v1.0 and v1.1 for mail send. Any connection attempts made after this date will fail. Due to TLS security vulnerabilities, we’re taking steps to make our mail pipeline safer. With Regional Segment, you can now personalize experiences using native email and SMS channels on Engage EU infrastructure.

Using Engage Premier, you can create personalized email campaigns, send targeted SMS notifications, and deliver tailored messages.

This expansion into the EU market reinforces Segment’s commitment to meet specific customer needs by offering localized infrastructure.

Twilio has released error codes for campaign review process. With this latest update, customers can easily identify the reason for campaign rejection with an error code and description through US App to Person (A2P) Campaign Resource.
