Segment's destination for Optimizely, built on Destination Actions, is now in Public Beta.

With this destination, customers can send Segment profile data into Optimizely to power testing and experimentation.

This upgrade brings the destination into the Actions Framework and connects to the latest Optimizely SDK, providing improved performance, security, and implementation.

The Pinterest API for Conversions destination, built on Actions, is a server-to-server integration with the Pinterest API.

It allows customers to pass web, app, and offline events from Segment directly to Pinterest. Events can be used to evaluate an ad's effectiveness to improve content, targeting, and placement of future ads, without the use of third party cookies.

Entity Property Condition Groups is now available for Linked Audiences to all customers on Business Plans with Linked Audiences. When filtering on entity properties in your entity condition, you can now create entity property condition groups, allowing you to utilize both the AND and OR operators in the same entity condition, streamlining the audience building experience. For more information on Linked Audiences, refer to our documentation. 

Source Volume alerting is now generally available for all Cloud Streaming Sources.

When viewing a source, access the Alert tab and provide a percentage threshold to alert against positive or negative changes in the event volume emitted from the source compared to the previous 24 hours.

For example, if you set a change percentage of 4%, Segment notifies you when your source ingests less than 96% or more than 104% of the typical event volume.

Additionally, for this new alert and the preexisting Destination Delivery alert, you can now specify a specific email address as the recipient for a triggered alert and/or a Slack channel of your choosing (in-app alerts also remain an option).

Delivery Overview is now generally available for all cloud-streaming destinations receiving events from cloud-streaming sources.

With Delivery Overview, you can verify that your source receives your events, that any filters and Tracking Plans work as expected, and that events successfully flow to your destination.

You can use Delivery Overview’s pipeline view to identify any event delivery errors or unexpected behavior, leading to quicker resolution of data quality issues.

Suggested Mappings automates the mapping of a source, which provides you with mapping suggestions while allowing you to tweak and perfect each mapping.

You’ll now be able to streamline warehouse credential management across Segment warehouse products: Profiles Sync & Storage destinations. Centrally manage warehouse credentials in Segment settings. Unified warehouse credentials is included with all plans with access to Profiles Sync and/or Storage destinations.

The Source Overview page now allows users to view a chart of source volume data (and accompanying event information), enabling them to view spikes and drops in a particular source’s volume over various time periods.

The information displayed in the image is representative of a customer’s Successfully Received step in Delivery Overview.

Braze Liquid Syntax Copy for Linked Audiences is now in Public Beta.

When setting up a Linked Audiences activation to Braze, you can now copy the Liquid syntax for the selected profile traits and entity properties you're sending in the event payload.

You can then paste and adjust the syntax as needed in your Braze messaging templates.

Selective Sync is a service that allows customers to fetch selected data from the Salesforce source. This feature enhancement allows Self-Serve (non-BT) customers to use the Selective Sync functionality without the need to create a ticket with Success Engineering.
